Dean Little

Meet Dean Little

A proud Rustacean since 2017, Dean is an expert in Bitcoin, Solana, and Secp256k1 with a robust background spanning blockchain, cryptography, distributed systems, and GPGPU. He currently serves as a cryptography researcher and protocol developer at Jupiter, the world’s largest DEX aggregator, Chief Scientist at Zeus Network, where he pioneers deep integration of the Bitcoin protocol on Solana, and Lead Curator of Blueshift, an education provider revolutionizing how we teach Rust development on Solana.

Dean was the first to enable quantum-resistant cryptography for Solana wallets and to implement the complete Bitcoin protocol—including Schnorr signatures—in SVM. An avid polyglot fluent in multiple languages, he also leads Developer Relations for the Mandarin and Cantonese markets at the Solana Foundation. With over 100 open source Rust repositories on GitHub, his work focuses on creating advanced cryptographic protocols, tooling, SDKs, and smart contracts in Rust (with occasional ventures into eBPF assembly). His mission is to promote privacy and economic sovereignty on a global scale.
